Easy 3-Ingredient Apple Fritters
Fall is one of the greatest times of the year; warm fuzzy sweaters, pretty fall leaves, chillier crisp air, the start of the greatest holidays, and don’t forget — THE FOOD!!! Warm apple and cold pumpkin pie, cider, I’m drooling already! But there’s a problem — October always seems to be the busiest time of the year, with school starting and a million birthdays, there’s just so little time to bake!
But this easy apple fritter recipe will satisfy your fall cravings without taking a bunch of time out of your day! And it’s especially fun to make with friends!
Ingredients:
- Pancake mix of choice
- 2-3 Apples
- Cinnamon sugar
Directions:
- Prepare your pancake mix as the package says (you can also add some cinnamon to spice it up a bit)
- Skin the apples and slice them vertically (or use a special apple cutter, but don’t cut the apples into wedges)
- Heat a medium-sized frying pan on medium heat on the stove
- Melt a small pat of butter in the frying pan
- Dip and cover your apple slices in the pancake batter and cook them in the pan
- When the edges of the fritter look dry, flip it over to cook the other side
- Move cooked fritters to a plate and dip them in cinnamon sugar
Yield: for every 4 pancakes the mix makes, you can make 5 apple fritters (my mix made 8 pancakes and I got 10 fritters)
I’m not gonna lie, these fritters went really fast, but they are so tasty! They satisfy that need for some fall-flavor perfectly, and the best part is you can eat them for breakfast, a snack, or dessert! This is definitely going on my go-to treats list! Hope you enjoyed!
